Jul. 22, 2017

  • July 22, 2017- President Trump participates in the commissioning of the U.S.S. Gerald Ford, a $12.9 billon dollar cost. The nuclear-powered aircraft carrier is 1,092 feet long, with a width of 256 feet, weighing 100,000 tons and can carry a crew of 4,539. This event is taking place in the naval yard in Norfolk, Virginia.

Note: Captain Steven Barstow, ship chaplain, has a hard time praying to God or Jesus, praying to no one instead, as he blesses this ship. It is a remnant of the Obama administrations orders and rules. This, despite the fact that the President mentioned God and “God bless” multiple times…The President, in his speech called for an end to “sequstration” on military spending, the budget practice of limiting budget growth in the U.S. budget by placing a hard cap on growth.
